- Gary Hines has a life-long association with the auction business:
- Pre-teen years, (1960 - 1963), sold concessions at area auctions.
- Teen/early adult years, (1964 - 1975), helped set up household and antique auctions by sorting and displaying items, as well as cleaning machinery and clipping cattle, in preparation for farm sales.
- At age 24, attended and graduated from the World Wide College of Auctioneering. Have been calling auctions and taking bids since 1975.
- Sold my first home at auction in 1985 and have been very successful selling homes, farms and vacant land on the auction block ever since.
